Description

The role is?for a Director within our ‘Credit Risk Solutions’, Credit & Political Risk Insurance team,?based?in?Singapore. This?role?will?involve?working?in?a?team?focusing?on?a?broad?base of?Singapore?and International Financial Institution clients.

Duties?and?responsibilities?will?include?but?not?be?limited?to:

  • Taking responsibly for?account management of key Financial Institution accounts; including?broking/placement strategy, product development, portfolio management and expanding client?relationships
  • Working with existing clients to review their existing programs, presenting the best possible solutions?and client outcomes
  • Negotiation?of?policy?wordings?/?contract?reviews
  • Contribute?to?delivery?of?our?new?business?strategy?and?targets?within?the?Global?Line?of?Business
  • Proactively?lead?initiatives?for?new?and?existing?clients
  • Attend?and?present?at?industry?events?and?conferences?in?Singapore?and?throughout?Asia
  • Develop?and?maintain?close?relationships?with?the?Insurers?across?the?region
  • Second?pair?of?eyes?check?on?client?documentation
  • Develop?good?working?relationships?and?work?closely?with?the?main?carriers?in?the?region

Qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in credit risk management, with a focus on structured credit products.
  • Ability to work independently on a range of placements and take responsibility for key accounts.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills essential
  • Excellent communication(written, verbal, oral & Presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self-motivation and decision-making skills are crucial
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of credit risk modeling and assessment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong team player with good people skills.
  • Professional certifications in credit risk management (e.g., PRM, FRM) are highly advantageous.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and a solid understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using credit risk analysis tools and software.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, with a track record of driving process improvements.
