Description

The Business Support Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the Accounting and Finance teams by assisting with management reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting, and responding to ad-hoc financial queries. This position requires close coordination with local business teams and regional shared service centers to ensure accurate and timely financial support.

The Role

  • Provide support to business finance and accounting teams in the preparation of management reports, statutory and regulatory filings, and annual financial audits.
  • Coordinate effectively with local business teams and regional shared service centers on financial and accounting matters.
  • Support finance operations as required to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects related to accounting and business finance functions.

Qualifications

The Requirements
?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a similar function; experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and/or Hyperion systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong integrity, and a proactive “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with logical thinking and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid working environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of taxation principles is an added advantage.
