Junior Facultative Reinsurance Intern?

51¶¯ÂþÃâ·ÑÔÚÏß¹Û¿´ is growing its Facultative Reinsurance capabilities in Italy and is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Facultative team in Milan.

This internship represents a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the reinsurance industry, working alongside experienced brokers and supporting the delivery of facultative reinsurance solutions for a broad range of clients.

The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation of reinsurance placements, risk analysis activities, market research and administrative support, while developing technical and commercial knowledge through on-the-job learning and structured training.

Key Responsibilities

As a Facultative Reinsurance Intern, you will support the team in the following activities:

• Assist in the collection, review and organization of client and risk information for facultative reinsurance placements.
• Support the preparation of presentations, submissions and placement documentation for reinsurers.
• Help maintain and update market data, placement records and internal systems.
• Assist the broking team in monitoring placement activities and tracking key documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Client Management, Claims, Legal and Finance teams, to ensure accurate and timely processing of information.
• Conduct market and industry research to support business initiatives and client projects.
• Support reporting and portfolio management activities through data analysis and administrative tasks.
• Learn and apply WTW tools, systems and best practices within the Facultative Reinsurance business.
• Stay informed about insurance, reinsurance and market developments through internal and external learning opportunities.

The Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Mathematics or a related field, or currently completing the final year of studies.
• Strong interest in the insurance and reinsurance sector.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Positive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.

Compensation

The compensation range and benefits information for this position are provided in accordance with local pay transparency regulations.

For this Extra-Curricular Internship, a gross annual internship allowance of €9,600 is provided.
